Poor when you consider the talent involved - director and actors. The film did not hold my attention for the entire length.

A fair to middling dark comedy loosely based on two nefarious historical characters who responded to the demand for cadavers for medical research in the early 19th century by bumping off 16 or 17 innocents in exchange for greased palms. In the end, Burke got the short end of the... well, watch the movie (or wiki them).

interesting twist on true events. A very quirky cast which makes it that much more fun to watch.

Good black comedy.

Starts off funny until you realize that what you've seen is all there is going to be. Ho Hum. Much forced bawdy in-your-face language most suitable for a teen beer bash. Concentration is not advised.

This is a somewhat funny movie, loosely based on true events.
