The Last Guardian is a puzzle, adventure, platforming game with a really intriguing world and environment with it. The game looks incredibly gorgeous, the environments are very detailed and look fantastic, but the real highlight is the models of Trico. Trico looks amazing, the details in his model is stellar and makes the whole game really pop. The story of the game is quite interesting as you start to learn more about the world you are in and Trico. Gameplay is somewhat standard, you explore your surroundings in order to solve a puzzle for you to progress to the next area of the world, but using Trico with the puzzles makes them feel a lot more fun and interesting. The game is really good at inflicting emotion in the player. It came make to feel incredibly stressed and tense, it can make you feel childishly happy and joyous or have you tear up on the brink of crying. If you like games with an interesting story without necessarily having everything explained, similar to Shadow of The Colossus, or you are fan of other puzzle, platforming games, then I feel that you should check out this game. Rating: 4 out of 5. @ToBeRisen of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

This game had a very rough development cycle that saw it change from a ps3 release to eventual ps4 release. The technical issues such as camera and frame rate have not been sorted out and gave me motion sickness if played for more than 1 hour at a time. With regards to the actual game, it is very artistic and I quite enjoyed solving the puzzles with trico (your large beast companion). You have to learn how to manipulate trico to do what you need it to do such as climb onto higher platforms or use its powers to destroy obstacles. That is essentially what the game is for the roughly 8 hours of game-play that I played through. I would have continued further but the technical issues really pushed me away from doing so and I felt that I had experienced the core of the game already.

My "easy listening" go to game after ICO, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom and Shadow of the Colossus but far more less run for your life intensity.

Many Trophies are elusive. Amazing what they ask you to do for a bronze these days.

Warning: It's a good game but tends to be very peaceful and calm in its content. You may fall asleep if playing at night.

The game is very unique. Animations of the animal (trico) are impressive and mostly realistic. The game has tedious controls, but they are not too bad. The controls started to feel normal after a couple hours of playing.

The Last Guardian is an unusual game because it is very interesting, wonderful, and immersive, but not always very fun. It's a peaceful slow-paced game, but some moments can be frustrating and a little stressful, but usually a lot less stressful than many other video games.

The puzzles are natural, but too natural. When there is a puzzle to solve the scenario feels just like it would in real life If one was lost in a bunch of caves and castles with a giant animal. Because of this, the puzzles are sometimes confusing and make the player feel lost, barely surviving, and only managing to find a the solution or pathway out of luck, creativity, and accident. This makes the solutions play out realistically like they would in a story book or movie, rather than a videogame. The puzzles may be confusing and frustrating, but natural, real, and interesting, and they never feel fake or 'gamey', and this is one of the main reasons that makes the The Last Guardian so special.

Most of the time, The Last Guardian provides a zen-like experience with great art, sound, and attention to detail. The visuals and gameplay in the game present one of the most believable and natural looking fantasy worlds in a video game.

It also has a very weird and interesting story.

It is one of my favourite games and I would definitely play it at least a couple more times. It's just so unique and special that I recommend anyone to try it.

Overall, I give it 4/5 stars, but the game also has some 5/5 star moments, as well as some 3/5 star moments.

One of the best video games I've ever played. Great story line and graphics. It's pretty challenging but doable with patience. Highly recommended.

Bad controls. Constant technical issues. A horrible camera that is always at odds with the game and player. This game has received a high metacritic solely because it is the third game by Team Ico. Shadow of the Colossus came out well over a decade from this games' release. The eternally delayed development shows here, and ultimately this should have been a movie not a game. Disappointing having bought and enjoyed Shadow of the Colossus in the PS2 era.

Can't rate on content, but wasn't able to play for more than 15 mins before motion sickness set in. The beginning that I did get through is somewhat mysterious.
