In a sweet ode to children's innate desires to collect things, "In A Jar" tells a story about a friendship between two young bunnies. Deborah Marcero's words and beautiful watercolor illustrations capture the whimsical magic of childhood and the ache of friends moving away. Children are sure to relate to this tale of collection, imagination, exploration, and friendship. Parents may find that the sense of wonder resonates with them as well.

This book is not only about friendship, but also about savouring the moments in your day. Both friendship and savouring are so important for our wellbeing. Personally, I think many children's books contain lessons for adults too. The illustrations are stunning too.

This already sweet story about sharing feelings and experiences with friends who are both near and far is made all the sweeter by it's stunning use of water colors and simple pictures to make the story just as impactful to the reader as it is supposed to be to the characters.

Such a sweet upbeat book with a stunning color palate. I thought how the illustrator put the images was very creative. This book felt magical... just as friendship truly is.
