Post-war Britain is a sad and melancholy place in this mystery. You can almost smell the wet wool and tea but you'll find yourself quickly drawn into the story of a Royal Navy diver who may or may not be a spy.

this is a great series ..the setting is historically true and inspector Troy is a character of great depth.
