Add a CommentThis is my 3rd Patterson book and each one has been very good - complex characters, intricate plots and much mystery. Here, a female county prosecutor has to unravel the deaths of 2 men involved in a municipal revitalization, one of whom was her lover 15 years ago. Their deaths are bizarre and seem to make no sense until she looks into the connections with the mob and how they interact.
Patterson takes the time to develope his characters into life like people whom the reader can believe in.
