This movie is, I believe, the result of someone taking a 50+ episode TV show, and editing it into the 2 hour monstrosity it is now. There is no other reasonable explanation for the complete lack of any sense that it makes.
I was wrong. Further research concludes that not only was this designed to be it's own film, it was actually supposed to make more sense then the last movie, char's counterattack.
So it's just terrible.
