This is an interesting book. I did not get all the way through it as it is quite large and I did not have the time, just then, to read a large book. There are many interesting anecdotal examples and it will give parents some basis on which to assess how much they are devoting to hockey. The tone of the book does lean toward wondering why some people devote so much but it is not completely negative. If you do decide that that is the activity you wish to devote a lot of time and money to it will make you more aware of the myriad of choices in that field and the pros and cons of different choices. I found the book an interesting read.
