First rate thriller. Aaron Eckhart continues to be solid. The only criticisism is of Olga Kurylenko, the CIA agent on the case; she doesn’t act. Don’t really know if she can; maybe English is a hurdle. She looks good so why should people who like women care; it’s a movie, not a film. --— Philipp Stolzl directs and is very capable. I don’t know if he is looking for creative material or is just a great craftsman. “North Face” was also very capably done by him. --- Some very nicely written dialogue between Eckhart and his daughter (and it was left in by Stolzl, that’s how good this guy is). Yes, it’s Hollywoodish, but done very well with the control to final cut it. ----- Yet another floater found at the S. End branch in Boston.
