Rachel Hollis' mission of giving people (mainly women) the tools to change their lives is extraordinary. Her out of the box thinking is very helpful to my "color in the lines" thinking. Yet, her writing style drives me nuts. I was only able to read one chapter at a time early in the book. How many times does she fill the pages with non essential comments about how she is writing on deadline, or with a personal story that is only slightly related to the chapter topic? It feels like she is just writing for word count although her material deserves much more than that. I want to give the subject matter a 5 and the delivery method a 1, so the book gets a 3. Rachel, I love you and your work and I'm being honest.
