March 26 2014.....After waiting about 10 months for this show, I finally received it. I've watched 6 episodes, and it is much tamer than I thought it would be, but for me, that's a good thing. Although it's certainly not a family show, it is a lot about family relationships, and it has great humour as well. (The poopy guns, the retching, I laughed out loud!) Most of the violence is much more subtle compared to the Sopranos, and Deadwood, and I think emotions are stressed, a little more. Having been hooked on 'Beauty and the Beast' (a way way back in the day,) I'm finding it really interesting getting to know Ron Perlman's real face. I'm loving Katey Sagal in this as well. Looks to me like she has had a little open heart surgery? (a sometimes not so subtle scar)....anyway, I can't imagine anyone doing a better job in this role, and I love both (Perlman and Sagal's) voices. Those voices are like chicken soup to me, real comfort food for the ears........May 8, just picked up the second 1/2 of season one, and watched one episode. I'm a bit lost, I can't remember who has done what, and I think I know who's body Jackson was burying, but I can't remember how he was killed! I have v-1 on hold again, hope I won't need to watch it again, but just in case!.......May 9, just watched episode 12, the Sleep of Babies, and it started out so beautifully, and ended so horribly. Awful.......Oct 8 2015, ha, I have to laugh! Now watching the final season, and it's funny that I found this series tame at first!
